Peec AI Review (2026): Pricing, Limits, Pros and Cons
Peec AI review: plans from about $80/mo annual, the three-model cap on every self-serve tier, what users say, and who it suits.
Peec AI is the tool people recommend when someone asks for "Profound, but simpler and cheaper." It is a Berlin-built AI visibility analytics platform with a clean interface, daily tracking, unlimited users on every plan, and a price ladder that starts under $100. It has grown fast — a $21M Series A in late 2025 and reported annualised revenue past $10M by spring 2026 — and it has a loyal base among agencies who put its dashboards in front of clients.
This review covers what Peec does, exactly what each plan includes (prices checked August 2026), the three-model cap that defines the product, what users say, and who should and should not buy it. Disclosure: we build a competing product, and the comparison section is labelled. Everything else is based on Peec's published plans and documentation, demos and public user reviews — we have not run it on a paid plan.
TL;DR: Peec AI is the best-designed reporting tool in the mid-market. It tracks prompts across the AI engines you pick, shows position, sentiment and the sources each answer cites, and refreshes daily. The catch is in the word pick: every self-serve plan, including Advanced at $420/mo, tracks three models of your choice. Everything else — more models, API, SSO — is Enterprise. And like most of the category, it reports and stops. Great for agencies that need clean, shareable analytics; limiting for a team that has hit the caps or wants the tool to do something about the gaps.
What Peec AI Is
Peec AI (peec.ai) tracks how your brand and competitors appear in AI-generated answers. You define prompts (or accept suggested ones), choose which models to track, and Peec runs them daily, recording whether you were mentioned, where you ranked, the sentiment, and which URLs were cited. The product is organised around:
- Visibility and position — mention rate and rank per prompt, per model, trended daily.
- Sources and citations — the domains and pages each model cites for your prompt set, which is the most useful screen for planning.
- Competitor benchmarking — share of voice against the competitors you name.
- Sentiment — how answers frame you.
- Projects and countries — Pro and Advanced add multiple projects and three countries per project; Advanced adds a Looker Studio connector for agency reporting.
- Agency directory — a public listing of agencies that use Peec, which doubles as lead generation for both sides.
Peec supports ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Microsoft Copilot, Perplexity and Gemini on self-serve plans, with up to eleven models on Enterprise. The company raised a $21M Series A led by Singular in November 2025 after a €5.2M seed, and TechCrunch reported in May 2026 that annualised revenue had passed $10M, up from about $4M at the Series A. It says it serves more than 3,000 brands and agencies, and lists Zalando, Attio, Squarespace, Brevo and Wix among them.
Peec AI Pricing (Checked August 2026)
Peec quotes annual and monthly rates; annual billing is about 15% cheaper. The figures below combine peec.ai/pricing with the monthly rates independent reviewers have recorded this year.
| Plan | Annual billing | Monthly billing | Prompts | Models | Projects | Users |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | ~$80/mo | ~$95/mo | 50 | 3 of 6 | 1 | Unlimited |
| Pro | ~$205/mo | ~$245/mo | 150 | 3 of 6 | 2 (3 countries each) | Unlimited |
| Advanced | ~$420/mo | ~$495/mo | 350 | 3 of 6 | 5 (3 countries each) | Unlimited |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom | Custom | Up to 11 | Unlimited | Unlimited |
Other details: daily tracking on every plan; a seven-day free trial with no card; extra model add-ons are priced per tier (reviewers cite roughly $35/mo on Starter rising to $165/mo on Advanced); API access, SSO and custom onboarding are Enterprise only.
Three things the table tells you:
- Three models is the product. It does not change as you spend more. Pro and Advanced buy prompts, projects and countries, not coverage.
- Unlimited users on every plan is unusual in a category that mostly meters seats, and it is the single biggest reason agencies pick Peec.
- The middle is expensive relative to the cheap end. Starter at $80 is competitive with Otterly's $189 Standard on prompts (50 vs 100) and beats it on seats. Advanced at $420 is Profound Growth money for a tool that still tracks three models.
How Peec AI Works Day to Day
Onboarding takes minutes: you name the brand, add competitors, choose the three models you want tracked, and either write prompts or accept the suggested set built from your category. Peec then runs every prompt daily and keeps the responses.
The main screens are visibility over time, a prompt table showing mention and position per model, a sources view of the domains and pages cited for each prompt, and a competitor benchmark. Pro and Advanced add projects (one brand or market each) and up to three countries per project so the same prompts can be tracked in different locales. Advanced adds the Looker Studio connector, which is how agencies pipe Peec data into client reports.
There is no task list, audit or outreach view: the workflow ends at the sources screen, and what you do with those sources happens outside the product. That is by design — Peec has described itself as analytics first — and it is the boundary that decides whether it fits your team.
What Peec AI Does Well
The interface. Reviewers on G2 and elsewhere lead with the same words: clean, fast, obvious. A client can read a Peec dashboard without training, which is the whole job for an agency report. G2 shows 4.9 out of 5 from 12 reviews — a small base, but consistent.
The sources view. Seeing which pages ChatGPT or AI Overviews cite for each prompt, refreshed daily, is the most actionable screen in any AI visibility tool. Peec's version is among the clearest.
Unlimited seats, transparent pricing, a real trial. You can put it in front of a client, a founder and an intern without a per-seat conversation, and you can try it for a week without a card.
Momentum. The company doubled revenue in months, is opening a New York office, and has said it intends to expand beyond analytics. The product you buy in August 2026 will not be the product a year later.
Where Peec AI Stops
Three models, then Enterprise. This is the complaint every independent review lands on. If your buyers use ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode and Perplexity, you are already choosing which one not to watch. Claude — increasingly the engine for technical buyers — is a choice against one of those. Tracking everything means a sales conversation.
Prompt caps bite early. Fifty prompts covers one product in one market. A company with two product lines or two countries is on Pro at $205 quickly, and an agency with a handful of clients is on Advanced.
Simple has a ceiling. There is no content tooling, no page audits, no outreach. Peec shows you the sources AI cites and leaves the earning of a place on them entirely to you. That is not a small gap: Ahrefs' 75,000-brand study found branded web mentions correlate roughly three times more strongly with AI visibility than backlinks, and about 44% of ChatGPT's citations go to "best of" listicles — third-party pages you have to get on.
Reporting connectors sit high. Multi-country and the Looker Studio connector only arrive on Advanced at $420/mo, which is where most agencies actually need them.
What Users Say
The praise: interface, speed of setup, responsive support, daily data, unlimited users. The complaints: the model cap, prompt limits on Starter, and "it tells us what is happening but not what to do." Compared with Profound, reviewers frame Peec as simpler and better value for the mid-market; compared with Otterly, as prettier and better on sources but more expensive to start.
Peec AI vs Sightivo
We make Sightivo; read this with that in mind.
| Peec AI | Sightivo | |
|---|---|---|
| Engines | Choose 3 of 6 (ChatGPT, AI Mode, AI Overviews, Copilot, Perplexity, Gemini); up to 11 on Enterprise | ChatGPT, Claude, Google AI Overviews on every plan |
| Entry price | ~$80/mo annual, ~$95 monthly; 50 prompts | $99/mo; 2 projects |
| Seats | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Sources view | Yes, daily | Yes, per prompt, with who is cited instead of you |
| After the gap is found | Nothing — reporting only | Drafts the missing page; lists the pages AI cites; finds the authors and their contacts; drafts and sends the outreach |
| Agency features | Looker Studio (Advanced), multi-country, agency directory | No white-label reporting; prompt volumes sized for one brand |
| Trial | 7 days, no card | 3 days, card required |
The difference is what you are buying. Peec is a better report: more models to choose from, cleaner client-facing dashboards, an agency ecosystem. Sightivo is built for the team that has to change the number, not present it — three fixed engines, and the work after the dashboard included. If you are an agency with twelve clients, Peec is probably the right pick. If you are a founder or a small in-house team doing the outreach yourself, the pages-plus-sources-plus-pitch workflow is the part you would otherwise be doing in a spreadsheet.
Peec AI Alternatives
Otterly AI if you want the cheapest credible dashboard ($29/mo for four engines, 15 prompts). Profound if you need the deepest data and have an enterprise budget. Scrunch AI if you hit Peec's model and prompt caps and can pay $300/mo for six engines and 350 custom prompts. Athena HQ for a free tier and built-in recommendations. SE Ranking or Ahrefs Brand Radar if you would rather bolt AI tracking onto an SEO suite you already pay for. Sightivo if you want the tool to act on the gaps. When Peec AI Is the Right Choice
- You are an agency that needs many seats on a clean, client-facing dashboard, and three models per client is enough.
- You already have content and PR capacity and only need the measurement.
- You want daily tracking at a fair mid-market price and value a real trial with no card.
- You report through Looker Studio and can justify Advanced.
When to Look Elsewhere
- Your buyers spread across more than three engines, or Claude matters to you and so do two Google surfaces.
- You have hit 50 prompts on one product and do not want to pay $205/mo for the next 100.
- You want the tool to tell you which page to write and which person to email, not just which source you are missing from.
- You need API access without an Enterprise contract.
Common Questions
How much does Peec AI cost?
On annual billing Peec AI Starter is about $80/mo for 50 prompts, three models and one project; Pro about $205/mo for 150 prompts and two projects with three countries each; Advanced about $420/mo for 350 prompts, five projects and the Looker Studio connector. Monthly billing is roughly $95, $245 and $495. All plans include unlimited users and daily tracking. Enterprise, with up to eleven models, API and SSO, is custom priced. Prices checked August 2026.
Is Peec AI worth it?
For an agency or marketing team that needs clear, shareable AI visibility reporting and can live with three tracked models, yes — it is the best-designed tool at its price. For a team that needs broader engine coverage or wants the tool to act on the gaps, the money is better spent elsewhere.
Does Peec AI have a free trial?
Yes, a seven-day free trial with no credit card required. There is no permanently free plan.
What engines does Peec AI track?
ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Microsoft Copilot, Perplexity and Gemini — three of your choice on every self-serve plan, with additional models as paid add-ons and up to eleven models on Enterprise. Claude is not among the self-serve options.
Who is Peec AI for?
Agencies and in-house marketing teams that want a clean daily dashboard of brand visibility across a few AI engines, with unlimited users and multi-project reporting. It is most popular with agencies, which is why it runs a public agency directory.
What are the best Peec AI alternatives?
Otterly AI (cheapest), Profound (deepest), Scrunch AI (more engines and prompts), Athena HQ (free tier and recommendations), SE Ranking or Ahrefs Brand Radar (suite add-ons), and Sightivo (acts on the gaps). See best Peec AI alternatives.
Peec AI vs Profound: which is better?
Profound has deeper citation data, real prompt volumes and enterprise features, at $99/mo for one engine or $399/mo for three. Peec is cheaper, simpler and gives every plan unlimited seats. Enterprise brand teams tend to pick Profound; agencies and mid-size teams tend to pick Peec. Neither does much about the gaps it reports.
Key Takeaways
- Peec AI is a clean, fast, daily AI visibility dashboard with unlimited users, from about $80/mo annual or $95/mo monthly, and a seven-day no-card trial.
- Every self-serve plan tracks three models of your choice, up to and including the $420/mo Advanced plan; more models, API and SSO are Enterprise.
- Users rate it highly (4.9/5 on G2 from a small review base) for interface and support; the recurring complaint is the model cap and the absence of any action layer.
- The company is growing quickly — $21M Series A, reported $10M+ ARR — and has said it will expand beyond analytics.
- Best for agencies and marketing teams that need to present the numbers; a poor fit for teams that need help changing them.
