Free SEO and AI visibility tools, no signup

The questions a startup asks in its first month — does ChatGPT know we exist, who links to us, what should we rank for — each answered by a tool you can use right now, without an account.

What you get: Five buyer questions asked of ChatGPT, whether you were named in each, who was named instead, and the URLs it cited.

What an AI visibility score is

An AI visibility score is the share of buyer questions for which an AI assistant names your brand. Ask ChatGPT five questions a customer might ask about your category; if it names you in one of them, your score is 1 of 5, or 20%. It is a mention rate, not a ranking — the same idea as “how often do we appear on page one” in classic SEO, applied to answers instead of results.

The baseline is low for almost everyone. Ahrefs found 26% of brands have no AI Overview mentions at all, and most startups score 0 of 5 the first time they check. The score matters because it moves: it goes up when the sources the assistant reads — listicles, comparison pages, Reddit threads, directories — start mentioning you. The checker explains what counts as a good score and how ChatGPT picks the sources it cites.

Coming next

These are being built, in this order. None of them exist yet — this list is here so you know what is coming, not to suggest they work today.

  • AI Overviews checker coming

Which of your keywords trigger an AI Overview, and who is cited in it.

  • ChatGPT rank checker coming

Where your brand sits in a ChatGPT answer for a prompt, across repeated runs.

  • Query fan-out tool coming

The sub-queries an AI engine expands a prompt into before it picks sources.

  • GEO audit coming

A page-level read of extractability: answer-first structure, dates, schema, entity clarity.

  • AI crawler access checker coming

Whether your robots.txt blocks GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot, ClaudeBot or PerplexityBot.

Questions about the tools

Are these tools free?
Yes. The AI visibility checker, backlink checker and keyword tool are free for the first run with no signup; a second run asks for an email address because each lookup costs us real money in data fees. There is no card and no trial clock. The llms.txt generator is free without limit — it runs entirely in your browser.
Do I need an account?
No. Nothing on this page needs a Sightivo account. An account is what you open when you want the checks to run on a schedule, with history and the list of things to do about the result.
Where does the data come from?
The backlink and keyword tools use a commercial link and keyword index — the same kind of source the paid SEO suites license. The AI visibility checker asks ChatGPT the questions directly and records what it says. Each tool page explains its source and how fresh the data is.
Which AI engines do you check?
The free checker asks ChatGPT. The Sightivo app tracks ChatGPT, Claude and Google AI Overviews. We do not claim other engines until we track them properly.
Can I use them for client sites?
Yes. Enter any domain or keyword. The per-run limits are the same for everyone; if you need dozens of checks a day, an account removes the shared ceiling.
What is the difference between the free checker and the Sightivo app?
The checker is a one-off snapshot of five questions. The app tracks a prompt set you choose across three engines on a schedule, shows what changed week to week, and turns every gap into the pages to publish and the sources to get mentioned on, with the authors found and the outreach drafted.
